About

The Full Story
Wallina Design Studio started with three artists who couldn't stop thinking about walls.
We all trained together at Sir J.J. School of Art, and somewhere in those years we noticed the same thing from three different directions. A wall is usually the most overlooked part of a room. It holds up the ceiling, it separates one space from the next, and most of the time, nobody looks at it twice. We wanted to change that.
So we started painting murals. Then we moved into sculptural relief, plaster and fiber cast pieces that turn a flat wall into something you actually want to reach out and touch. Along the way we picked up ceramics too, and eventually, full interior design, because once you start thinking seriously about one wall, it's hard not to start thinking about the whole room around it.
What We Believe
A wall doesn't have to be background. Done well, it can be the reason someone remembers a room at all.
We care about craft more than trends. Every mural is painted by hand, every relief piece is shaped by hand, and every ceramic form is made the same way. Nothing here comes off a printer or out of a mold that a thousand other homes already have. If you've hired us, the wall in front of you exists nowhere else.
Who We Work With
We work two ways, and we're upfront about both.
For interior designers, architects, and developers, we come in as a specialist trade partner. You bring us onto a project for the mural, the relief wall, or the ceramic piece, and we make sure it fits your vision and your timeline, not the other way around. We know what it means to be trusted on someone else's project, and we don't take that lightly.
For private clients, we work directly, from a single feature wall to a full interior design, start to finish.
